PS CCS Action Nets 515 Grams of Ganja, Two Arrested

In a decisive crackdown on narcotics trafficking, the Central Crime Station (CCS) executed a successful raid leading to the apprehension of one individual and the seizure of a substantial quantity of ganja. The operation, conducted in the late hours of April 6th to 7th, 2024, unfolded in Tushnabad following precise intelligence provided by a trusted source.

Under the leadership of Inspector Girish Kumar, Station House Officer (SHO) of CCS, and spearheaded by Mr. Kumar Abhishek, Deputy Superintendent of Police (CID), a team comprising Sub-Inspector Parvash, Head Constable Sanjit Madhu, along with Constables Sanjay Kujur, K. Venkateshwar Rao, Shibani Biswas, K. Rajendran, and N. Thangaraj, meticulously executed the raid.

During the operation, the team intercepted one Vishal Singh, son of Mr. Sikander Singh, a resident of Tushnabad, in possession of 405 grams of ganja. Vishal Singh was promptly arrested in accordance with legal protocols. It was revealed that Vishal Singh has a history of involvement in five previous cases.

Following interrogation, Vishal Singh disclosed information leading to the subsequent arrest of R. Thiru Murugan, son of Late V. Rajendran and resident of Calicut, on April 8th, 2024. 110 grams of ganja was recovered from R. Thiru Murugan. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities delve deeper into the network and activities of the accused.

The raid and subsequent arrest were conducted under the overall supervision of Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, Superintendent of Police (CID). A case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act-1985 at PS CCS.
