PS CCS Seizes 4.69 Grams Methamphetamine, Arrests Two Individuals

Acting on a reliable intelligence tip-off, a specialised police team executed a targeted raid on Japan Road, Dairy Farm, resulting in the seizure of 4.69 grams of Methamphetamine. The operation was led by Sub-Inspector Parvash, along with Head Constable Sanjit Madhu, Constables K. Venkateshwar Rao, N. Thangaraj, Chandran, K. Rajendran, Nanak Singh, and Lady Home Guard Saramma, all from PS CCS.

The raid culminated in the arrest of Sathya Priyan, a 24-year-old private driver residing near Japan Road. Priyan was apprehended on the spot, with the entire process conducted in adherence to legal protocols.

Under the command of Mr. Kumar Abhishek, Deputy Superintendent of Police (CID), and the overall supervision of Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, Superintendent of Police (CID), the raid was executed seamlessly. A case has been filed under the pertinent sections of the NDPS Act-1985 at PS CCS.

Further investigation revealed that the seized drug had been supplied by I. Naveen Ganesh, currently residing in a rented room at Dollygunj. Ganesh was subsequently arrested on the 23rd of November in connection with this case. Notably, Ganesh has a history of involvement in a prior NDPS case handled by PS CCS.

Additionally, Ganesh is close to Babul Sarkar, a resident of Hut Bay, who is presently in judicial custody following his arrest in a Methamphetamine case handled by PS Pahargaon.
