In a targeted operation prompted by specific intelligence, the Central Crime Station’s Police team, led by Inspector Vishal Ram, alongside SI Parvash and a team of dedicated officers, conducted a successful raid at Hotel ACC in Mohanpura. The operation resulted in the seizure of 7.246 kilograms of Ganja from the possession of Animesh Ezzedder of Nabagram, Kalighat, and Bacha Das of Subhash Gram, Diglipur.
Both individuals were apprehended on-site following a meticulous operation carried out with due procedure. The raid, supervised by Dy.SP (CID) and under the overall guidance of Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, IPS, SP (CID), was a coordinated effort by the law enforcement authorities.
A case has been registered under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act-1985 at PS CCS, and an ongoing investigation is underway. Animesh Ezzedder, one of the accused, was previously arrested in another NDPS case involving the recovery of 4.174 kilograms of Ganja at PS Kalighat.
