PS Rangat Swiftly Solves Murder Mystery, Apprehends Suspect Within Hours

In a swift and determined response to a heinous crime, the Police Station (PS) Rangat successfully solved a murder case within hours of its occurrence, apprehending the prime suspect. The incident, which took place in Urmilapur, Rangat, shocked the local community as a woman was tragically found beheaded.

The prompt action from the Station House Officer (SHO) of PS Rangat, along with a dedicated police team, was instrumental in quickly responding to the distress call. Upon arrival at the scene, the lifeless body of the victim was discovered, prompting an immediate launch of a thorough investigation.

Utilising meticulous investigative techniques, including gathering statements from witnesses and collecting crucial evidence with the assistance of forensic experts, the police swiftly narrowed down on the suspect. Thakur Sikder emerged as the perpetrator, driven by alleged suspicions arising from a family dispute.

Following the commission of the crime, Sikder attempted to evade capture by fleeing into the dense jungle nearby. Undeterred by the challenging terrain, the police launched an extensive search operation. Their relentless efforts paid off as they successfully apprehended the accused within hours of the crime being reported.

Identified as Thakur Sikder, son of Late Kalipado Sikder and a private worker residing in Urmilapur, Bakultala, the suspect was promptly arrested. A case has been registered against him under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The authorities commend the swift action and dedication of the police personnel involved in solving the case.
