As part of the ongoing initiative “Sampark se Samadhan – Prashasan Gaon ki Ore”, a public grievance redressal programme was organized at the Conference Hall of the Administrative Building in Diglipur recently. The programme was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner of North & Middle Andaman, Mr. Sushant Padha, IAS, and attended by the Assistant Commissioner, Diglipur, Mr. Santosh Prakash, along with Heads of various Departments and representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs).

The initiative aims to strengthen service delivery and ensure the timely resolution of public grievances at the grassroots level through direct interaction between the administration and citizens.

During the Revenue Camp Court held as part of the programme, several cases related to sub-division of land, correction of names, and mutation were taken up for hearing. In clear cases, orders were signed and issued on the spot, providing immediate relief to the applicants.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation, with around 350 people attending the camp, including PRI members, Heads of Offices, and members of the general public. The large turnout reflected strong community engagement with the initiative.

Officials said the Camp Court served as an important platform for the on-the-spot resolution of public issues, while also promoting transparency and accessibility in the revenue administration process.
