‘Pujit Akshat’ from Shree Ram Mandir Ayodhya Arrives at Campbell Bay

13th December 2023, marked a momentous occasion as the revered ‘Pujit Akshat’ from the Shree Ram Mandir in Ayodhya made its arrival at Campbell Bay, the Southernmost Frontier of India’s territory within the Nicobar district of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

The ceremonial reception of the Akshat Kalash was orchestrated by Mr. Ranjan Singh, Secretary of VHP Campbell Bay, who received the Kalash from Swami Suddhananda Saraswati Maharaj, Adyaksh, in the esteemed presence of Mr. Anoop Gopinathan, General Secretary of the Shree Ram Mandir Pran Pratishta Abhiyan Samiti, A&N Islands.

The arrival of the Pujit Akshat was met with an enthusiastic welcome by devoted followers of Lord Ram at the Campbell Bay jetty. Adorned with garlands and flowers, the artifact was ceremoniously paraded through a vibrant Swagat Yatra, a massive rally, culminating at the Shree Krishna Mandir.

This ‘Pujit Akshat’ holds significant symbolism as it will be distributed among households as an invitation, beckoning locals to partake in the momentous consecration ceremony (Pran Pratishta) of the Ram temple scheduled for January 22nd, 2023, in Ayodhya. Each household will receive this blessed invitation to participate in the upcoming celebrations within their local temples.

The arrival of the Pujit Akshat has stirred anticipation and reverence among devotees, signifying the forthcoming auspicious celebration of the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
