Rajya Stariya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RSBVP) ‘Gyanodaya’ 2023-24′ Showcases Innovation and Talent

The 2-day Rajya Stariya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RSBVP) ‘Gyanodaya’ 2023-24 unfolded a myriad of innovations and talent, organised by the Science Wing of the Directorate of Education A & N Administration. Collaborating with Samgra Shiksha and DESM-NCERT New Delhi, the event spanned from 18th to 19th December 2023, held at the Auditorium of Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Port Blair.

Marking the inauguration, Ms. Nandini Paliwal, IAS Commissioner-cum-Secretary, A & N Administration, graced the occasion as the chief guest on 18th December 2023. Commending the relentless efforts of students, teachers, and organizers, she lauded their commitment, aiming for an innovative and highly successful exhibition. Engaging with each exhibit, the Chief Guest interacted with the students, emphasising the importance of their contributions. Additionally, the Chief Guest and dignitaries jointly released souvenirs and an Android App dedicated to Rajya Stariya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani ‘Gyanodaya’ 2023-24.

The welcoming address was delivered by Ms. Pallavi Sarkar, IAS, Secretary Education, while Mr. Aditya Kumar Jha, DANICS, Director Education, extended the vote of thanks. Featuring 91 exhibits spanning Science, Mathematics, Environmental Education, and Art & Crafts from all 09-Educational Zones of A & N Islands, the State Level Function witnessed an impressive display of creativity. Notably, the flower arrangements and food corners captivated the audience, drawing interest from parents, teachers, and students alike. 

The event served as a platform for young minds to showcase their ingenuity and educational prowess, fostering a spirit of innovation and learning within the A&N community.
