The Rashtriya Karmayogi Jan Seva Programme Workshop was successfully conducted on December 26, 2025, at the ICAR–Central Island Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-CIARI), Sri Vijaya Puram, as part of the National Mission on Karmayogi initiative of the Capacity Building Commission, New Delhi.

The workshop aimed at strengthening citizen-centric service delivery through continuous capacity building of government personnel. In the first batch, a total of 34 participants, including scientists, technical staff, and administrative personnel of the institute, took part in the programme.

The workshop witnessed active participation and engagement from all cadres, reflecting ICAR-CIARI’s commitment to professional development and excellence in public service. It was coordinated by Dr. R. Kiruba Sankar and Mr. Kanishk Bhukar under the overall guidance of Dr. Jai Sunder, Director, ICAR-CIARI.

During the programme, key modules of the Rashtriya Karmayogi framework were covered through a balanced mix of theoretical inputs and practical exercises. Participants were familiarised with core concepts such as role-based learning, competency development, and outcome-oriented governance.

The workshop concluded with positive feedback from the participants, who appreciated the structured approach and practical orientation of the sessions, highlighting its relevance in enhancing efficiency and service delivery in the public sector.
