The Rashtriya Karmayogi Jan Seva Programme Workshop (Batch-II) was conducted at the ICAR–Central Island Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-CIARI), Sri Vijaya Puram, on Sunday as part of the National Mission on Karmayogi, an initiative of the Capacity Building Commission, Government of India.
A total of 34 staff members from the Technical, Administrative and Skilled Supporting Staff categories of the institute participated in the one-day workshop. The programme aimed to strengthen professional competencies and enhance the quality of public service delivery through structured capacity-building initiatives.
The workshop was facilitated by Master Trainers Dr R. Kiruba Sankar and Mr Kanishk Bhukar, with coordination and support from Mrs Asma Bibi and Mrs Naga Venkat Laxmi. The programme was organised under the overall guidance of Dr Jai Sunder, Director, ICAR-CIARI.
During the sessions, participants were introduced to the core principles of the Karmayogi framework, focusing on role-based learning, competency development and outcome-oriented governance. The discussions highlighted the relevance of these principles in improving efficiency, accountability and effectiveness in public service.
The workshop concluded on a positive note, with participants appreciating the structured approach and practical orientation of the sessions, which they said would help enhance their professional performance and service delivery.
