Ration Rasheed Foundation Backs Team Andaman Nicobar Muaythai for National Championship

In a commendable gesture to nurture local sports talent, the Ration Rasheed Foundation has extended financial support to Team Andaman Nicobar Muaythai, enabling their participation in the upcoming Muaythai Federation Cup. The prestigious event is set to take place in Agartala, Tripura, from 18th to 21st December 2024.

The Muaythai Federation Cup, a highlight of the national martial arts calendar, is expected to bring together over 1,000 athletes and 200 officials from across India. Representing the Andaman and Nicobar Islands at this high-profile competition is a team of five skilled athletes, chosen for their outstanding performances in previous tournaments.

The team comprises:

-Mohammed Rashad: District Gold Medalist, National Gold Medalist

-V. Varun Ranjan: District Gold Medalist

-Eswar: National Bronze Medalist, District Silver Medalist

-Kishore

-Vikas

The financial assistance provided by the Ration Rasheed Foundation will cover essential expenses, including travel and accommodation, ensuring the team is well-equipped to compete.
