Port Blair, 12 September 2023

Candidates eligible for recruitment to the vacant position of Mazdoor within the Industrial Establishment of the Wildlife Division, Haddo, under the Department of Environment & Forests, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, have been informed of the upcoming Physical Endurance Test (PET). This announcement follows the publication of a vacancy notice via Notification No. WL/LS/48-A/3869 in the Daily Telegrams on April 4, 2017.

The Physical Endurance Test (PET) is scheduled to take place from September 15, 2023, to October 4, 2023.

Admit cards for the PET were initially made available for download on the official website of the Department of Environment & Forests, Andaman and Nicobar Administration at https://ls.1.and.Nic.in/forest and https://1s.and.nic.in:8080/mazdoor/authforht.php. However, due to various reasons, some eligible candidates encountered difficulties in accessing their admit cards.

In consideration of the unique geographical challenges posed by the remoteness of various islands in the Andaman and Nicobar archipelago, as well as connectivity issues, it has been decided to extend the period for the manual issuance of admit cards. Candidates who faced difficulties in downloading their admit cards online may now approach the Office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Wildlife Division, Haddo, during office hours, up to September 13, 2023, to obtain a physical copy of their admit card.

This extension aims to ensure that all eligible candidates have the opportunity to participate in the upcoming Physical Endurance Test, facilitating a fair and equitable recruitment process for the position of Mazdoor in the Wildlife Division, Haddo.
