National Council of Science Museum, Kolkata (NCSM), in collaboration with the NCERT, Ministry of Education, Government of India, and Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), is set to host the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2024-25. This prestigious talent search examination is aimed at school students from classes VI to XI and will be conducted on October 23 and October 27, 2024.
The VVM 2024-25 will be accessible in 12 major regional Indian languages—Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Malayalam, Assamese, Sanskrit, Urdu—along with English and Hindi. The examination is designed to be app-based, allowing students to use digital devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and laptops or desktops. The 90-minute open-book exam can be attempted between 10 AM and 6 PM on either of the designated dates from the comfort of the students’ homes or their schools.
Top-performing students will advance to the next levels of the examination, which include state and national levels. These subsequent rounds will feature application-oriented multiple-choice questions, hands-on activities, observation and analysis, situational problem-solving abilities, and various other engaging activities.
Participating in the VVM 2024-25 offers numerous benefits to students, including:

5. Undergoing an Internship-cum-Extensive Training Program (SRIJAN) at leading R&D labs for national and zonal level winners.
6. Receiving Bhaskara Scholarships for national level winners, known as the Himalayans (18 students).
