Registration Open for Indian Army Recruitment 2027; Camps Being Organised Across Islands to Assist Aspirants

The Indian Army has announced the Recruitment Notification for the Recruiting Year 2027, with the official notification published on its website on February 13, 2026. The online registration process is currently underway and will remain open until April 1, 2026.

In an effort to encourage and support youth from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to join the Armed Forces, a series of registration camps are being organised across the islands under the initiative #Delhi to Dweep 2.0. The camps are being conducted with the assistance of the Military Component of Headquarters Andaman & Nicobar Command (HQ ANC) and the National Cadet Corps (NCC).

The initiative aims to facilitate aspiring candidates in completing their online registration and to spread awareness about the recruitment process. Officials stated that the camps are intended to ensure that eligible youth, especially those facing technical or logistical challenges, receive proper guidance and support.

Registration camps have been set up at multiple locations, including JNRM College, Sri Vijaya Puram; MG College, Mayabunder; GSSS Diglipur; GSSS Car Nicobar; GSSS Swaraj Dweep; and GSSS Campbell Bay.

Eligible candidates have been urged to complete their registration well before the April 1 deadline. Authorities have also advised aspirants to make use of the registration camps for assistance, if required.
