Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, State Vice President, BJP, Andaman and Nicobar Islands also accompanied Mr. Ajoy Bairagi during his visit to Great Nicobar, but he stayed back as he is a local resident.
The renewed attention of the Political Leaders on the Islands of Nicobar District is interesting and is turning the tide in favour of the residents.
Nicobar is often ignored by both political leaders and the top officials of A & N Administration. There are numerous issues which can be solved easily but they remain unsolved as the voice of the people remains unheard due to the remoteness of the Islands of Nicobar District.
People of Nicobar District are now enjoying the renewed attention that they are getting from leaders of various political parties. Many are glad that political leaders are now raising even the smallest of issues which have remained unsolved for years.
Mr. TSG Bhasker has promised many amenities for PHC Campbell Bay through TSG Foundation. Mr. Rangalal Halder has been writing letters to the officials of the Administration highlighting various issues of Great Nicobar Island.
Mr. Vishal Jolly held a Press Conference on the problems being faced by the people of Car Nicobar. Mr. Jolly also met the Chief Secretary and highlighted the problems of the people of Car Nicobar Island. He also has been meeting the common people during his current tour to the Nancowry Group of Islands.
