Revised Sailing Schedule Announced by Directorate of Shipping Services

In view of improving weather conditions, the Directorate of Shipping Services (DSS) has revised the sailing schedule for several vessels, including MV Campbell Bay, Nalanda, and MV Sentinel.

MV Campbell Bay:

The sailing of MV Campbell Bay to Little Andaman, originally scheduled for 22nd July 2025 and later postponed to 24th July, has now been cancelled. Additionally, the further announced sailings to Little Andaman on 25th and 27th July 2025 from Sri Vijaya Puram have also been cancelled due to technical reasons. Affected passengers are advised to cancel their tickets and collect full refunds.

To assist commuters to Little Andaman, a special speed boat service has been arranged from 27th to 30th July 2025. The boat will depart daily at 0615 Hrs from Phoenix Bay Jetty. Tickets for these sailings will be available from 26th July onwards via the DSS e-ticketing portal (https://dss.andaman.gov.in/eticketing) and the STARS Ticketing Counter between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Nalanda:

The sailing of Nalanda for Campbell Bay via Nancowry, initially scheduled for 22nd July and later moved to 24th July 2025, will now take place on 27th July at 0900 Hrs from Haddo Wharf. The return journey is scheduled for 29th July at 0800 Hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry.

Furthermore, the vessel’s next scheduled sailing for Campbell Bay on 29th July has been postponed to 31st July 2025. It will now depart at 0900 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and return to Sri Vijaya Puram on 2nd August 2025 at 0800 Hrs.

MV Sentinel:

The sailing of MV Sentinel to Nancowry via all ports, which was disrupted by poor weather on 24th July 2025, will now take place on 27th July at 0700 Hrs from Haddo Wharf. The vessel will travel via Little Andaman, Car Nicobar, Chowra, Teressa, and Katchal. Its return journey is scheduled for 30th July at 0500 Hrs from Nancowry via the same route.

The Directorate of Shipping Services has urged passengers to stay updated through official channels and cooperate with authorities during the ongoing schedule adjustments.
