Rotary Club of Port Blair and Prince Group Donates Projector to RGT Public Vidyalaya

In a significant step towards promoting technological integration in education, the Rotary Club of Port Blair, in collaboration with Prince Group, donated a projector to RGT Public Vidyalaya, Port Blair, during a special event held at the school.

The donation event was attended by key dignitaries, including Mr. Indrajeet Khurana, owner of Prince Group, and Mr. Sagar Khurana, Managing Director of Prince Group and President of the Rotary Club, Port Blair. Both played a pivotal role in bringing this initiative to life, aimed at enhancing the learning environment for students through modern technology.

The program opened with a warm welcome from the Principal of RGT Public Vidyalaya, who expressed her gratitude for the generous contribution. “This donation will greatly benefit our students by improving their access to modern educational tools,” she said, emphasizing the vital role of technology in today’s learning process.

Miss Nirnita Das, a teacher at the school, highlighted the growing importance of technology in classrooms, especially in the context of the New Education Policy (NEP) 2022. She pointed out how using projectors and other tech tools can enrich the teaching process, making lessons more interactive and engaging for students.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Sagar Khurana reaffirmed the Rotary Club’s dedication to supporting education in the region. “The Rotary Club of Port Blair is always looking for ways to contribute to the betterment of our schools. Through this donation, we hope to provide students with better resources to aid their learning,” he said.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the Headmistress of RGT Public Vidyalaya, who appreciated the support from both the Rotary Club and the Prince Group. She highlighted how the projector would serve as a valuable tool for teachers and students alike, boosting the overall learning experience at the school.

This donation is part of a broader initiative by the Rotary Club of Port Blair to improve educational resources and promote the use of technology in schools, helping to align with the national goals set by the NEP 2022.
