Rotary Club of Port Blair NextGen Donates Utensils to Abhudaya Complex Inmates

Continuing its commitment to community welfare, the Rotary Club of Port Blair NextGen donated stainless steel plates, bowls and spoons for all inmates of the Abhudaya Complex at Ferrargunj, which houses an Old Age Home, a Specially Abled Home and a Child Care Institute.

The donation was formally handed over by the Club President, Rtn. Mandeep Grewal, along with Rtn. M. Vignesh, Club Secretary, Rtn. Devansh Arora, Rtn. Sarvagya Singh and Rtn. PD, to Dr. Shweta, In-charge of the Abhudaya Complex.

During the visit, members of the Rotary Club spent time interacting with the inmates of the old age home, engaging in conversations and sharing moments of warmth and companionship. The interaction underscored Rotary’s emphasis on service rooted not only in material support but also in human connection and compassion.

Addressing the occasion, Rtn. Mandeep Grewal stated that the initiative reflects Rotary NextGen’s focus on promoting dignity, hygiene and care for the most vulnerable sections of society.

The Rotary Club of Port Blair NextGen reiterated its commitment to undertaking meaningful service initiatives aimed at bringing comfort, care and positive change to the community.
