The Rotary Club of Port Blair NextGen held its 5th Installation Ceremony on Monday at TSG Hotel, marking the induction of its new office bearers for the Rotary year 2025-26.
Rtn. Mandeep Grewal took charge as President, Rtn. M. Vignesh as General Secretary, and Rtn. Sonu George Eappen as Treasurer. The newly installed team pledged to strengthen Rotary’s commitment to service, leadership, and community development in the islands.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Dr. Chandrashekhar, President of the Andaman and Nicobar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ANCCI), who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Senior Rotarian and Past President of the Rotary Club of Port Blair, Mohd H. Jadwet, attended as Guest of Honour and encouraged members to uphold Rotary’s values of service above self.
In his address, President Rtn. Mandeep Grewal expressed gratitude to the outgoing team and outlined his vision for the year ahead, highlighting youth engagement, environmental sustainability, and education as key focus areas.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, as members, community leaders, and youth participants celebrated the beginning of a new chapter for Rotary Club of Port Blair NextGen.
