Rotary Club of Port Blair to Hold Free Camp for Distribution of Artificial Limbs and Callipers from April 10

In a humanitarian effort to support persons with disabilities, the Rotary Club of Port Blair, in collaboration with Mahaveer Seva Sadan and the Composite Regional Centre (CRC) – A&N Islands, will organise a Free Distribution Camp for Artificial Limbs and Callipers starting April 10, 2025.

The camp aims to provide essential mobility aids to individuals in need, improving accessibility and enhancing the quality of life for the Divyangjan community across the islands.

As part of Rotary’s ongoing commitment to social welfare and community service, the camp will be conducted by a team of experienced professionals and medical experts specialising in prosthetics and rehabilitation. Beneficiaries will be provided with customised artificial limbs and callipers tailored to their specific mobility requirements.

President of Rotary Club of Port Blair, Rtn. Sagar Khurana, said the initiative is focused on empowerment and inclusion. “Our goal is to empower individuals with disabilities by providing them with the necessary mobility aids. We believe that with the right support, they can lead fulfilling and independent lives,” he said.
