A vaccination camp was organized at Wandoor Community Hall on on 29th September where more than 42 people were inoculated with COVID-19 vaccination. The event was organized by Rotary Club of Port Blair , Rotary Club of Port Blair NextGen in collaboration with the South Andaman District Administration.
A 74 year old woman was the oldest person to be vaccinated at the camp. The Deputy Commissioner South Andaman, Mr. Suneel Anchipaka was the Chief Guest on the occasion, whereas SDM, South Andaman Mr. Hari Kallikkat was the Guest of Honour.
The President of Rotary Club of Port Blair NextGen Mr. Paramanthaman Divya Prasad, Secretary Ms. Jyoshita Anand, along with other members of the club were present on the occasion.
