The Sports Authority of India (SAI), Sri Vijaya Puram, will conduct selection trials for young athletes on February 10, 2025, at the SAI Campus, Netaji Stadium, from 9:00 AM onwards. The trials are for boys and girls aged 10 to 14 years seeking admission to the residential scheme of Sports Authority of India.
The selection trials will be conducted for water sports—Rowing, Kayaking, Canoeing—and Football (Girls only). Priority will be given to children who meet the eligibility criteria, are proficient swimmers, and have won medals at the district, state, or school level. The selection process will include physical fitness tests conducted by SAI NSNIS-certified coaches.
Aspiring athletes must report for the trials with the following documents:
- Original Birth Certificate
- Aadhaar Card
- Sports Achievement Certificates
- Four Passport-size Photographs
