Sailing of Inter-Island Vessels Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

The Directorate of Shipping Services (DSS), Andaman and Nicobar Administration, has announced the postponement of several scheduled sailings in the Inter-Island sector due to prevailing inclement weather conditions. The decision has been taken keeping in view the safety of passengers and vessels.

As per the revised schedule:

– MV Campbell Bay, which was scheduled to sail for Little Andaman on July 22, 2025 (Tuesday) at 0800 hrs from Haddo Wharf, and return the same day at 2100 hrs from Little Andaman, will now sail on July 24, 2025 (Thursday) at the same timings.

– MV Nalanda, which was scheduled to sail for Campbell Bay via Nancowry on July 22, 2025 at 0900 hrs from Haddo Wharf and return on July 24, 2025 at 0800 hrs, will now sail on July 24, 2025 (Thursday) at 0900 hrs, and return to Sri Vijaya Puram on July 26, 2025 (Saturday) at 0800 hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry.

In addition, the Directorate has cautioned that Foreshore Sector and Harbour/Vehicle ferry services at Sri Vijaya Puram and outstations may also face disruptions or suspension at short notice depending on weather conditions.
