The District Administration, North & Middle Andaman, launched a new public outreach initiative titled “Sampark se Samadhan – Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” on November 5, aimed at enhancing direct engagement with citizens and promoting participatory governance across the district. The programme will be inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner (N&MA).
Designed to bring the administration closer to the people, the initiative underscores the commitment of the district administration towards responsive, transparent, and citizen-centric governance. Under this programme, the Deputy Commissioner, along with the Assistant Commissioners, Revenue Officials, and Heads of various line departments, will visit different villages every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
During these visits, the team will interact with PRI members and local residents, listen to their grievances, assess developmental needs, and ensure on-the-spot resolution wherever possible. Issues requiring higher-level intervention will be referred to the competent authorities for prompt action.
In the first phase, the Deputy Commissioner will visit Diglipur from November 7 to 9, 2025. The initiative reflects the broader vision of the Chief Secretary and Commissioner (Revenue) to strengthen the connection between the administration and the people.
The District Administration expressed confidence that “Sampark se Samadhan” will help ensure that every citizen’s voice is heard and addressed proactively, thereby reinforcing grassroots democracy and accelerating inclusive development across North & Middle Andaman.
Residents have been encouraged to extend their cooperation and participate actively to make the initiative impactful and successful.
