The ‘Sampoornata Abhiyaan Samman Samaroh’ at the district level for the Aspirational Block Programme was recently organized at Priyadarshini Hall, Tamaloo, Car Nicobar, in accordance with directions received from NITI Aayog.
The event was graced by Mr. Amit Kale, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Nicobar District, who felicitated block-level officers and front-line workers from various departments for achieving saturation in specific indicators under the Sampoornata Abhiyaan.
The programme also featured testimonials from successful Self-Help Group (SHG) women and TB survivors under the initiative ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’, highlighting personal stories of resilience and transformation.
The ceremony showcased inter-departmental cooperation, with enthusiastic participation from multiple government departments and local stakeholders. Informative kiosks were set up by departments to exhibit ongoing welfare schemes and developmental initiatives being implemented in the district.
The event concluded with a reaffirmation of the District Administration’s commitment to holistic, inclusive, and sustainable development in Nicobar District. (Story Based on PR)
