Sandeep Singh (Rinku) Accused in Andaman Gang Rape Case Brought to Port Blair; He was Reportedly Arrested on 13 Nov at Haryana Border

Mr. Sandeep Singh (Rinku) one of the accused in the Andaman Gang Rape Case (Andaman Job for Sex Scandal) was brought to Port Blair on 14th November, from Delhi, by Andaman and Nicobar Police.

According to reports, Mr. Sandeep Singh was arrested from Haryana Border on 13th November 2022 by Andaman and Nicobar Police.

Andaman and Nicobar Police had announced a reward of Rs. 1,00000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) for anyone providing information leading to the arrest of Mr. Sandeep Singh. 

Honā€™ble Calcutta High Court refused Anticipatory Bail to Mr. Sandeep Singh on 4th November 2022.

Mr. Rishishwarlal Rishi (RL Rishi) another accused in Andaman Gang Rape Case is still absconding. Andaman and Nicobar Police has also announced Rs. 1,00000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) reward for providing any information that leads to the arrest of Mr. RL Rishi.

A Special Investigation Team of Andaman and Nicobar Police is investigating the high-profile Andaman Gang Rape Case in which Senior IAS Officer (Suspended) Mr. Jitendra Narain, Former Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Islands is also an accused. 

Mr. Jitendra Narain was sent to Police Custody on Friday by CJM Court after he was arrested on Thursday following the rejection of his anticipatory bail plea by the Sessions Court.
