Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Zilla Parishad Member from Govind Nagar/Campbell Bay Constituency of Great Nicobar has been elected as the Adhyaksh of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman. Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh is also the State Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh secured a big win by winning the Elections held for the 2nd Year Term of Adyaksh, Zilla Parishad South Andaman by securing a total of 11 votes. Zilla Parishad South Andaman has 18 seats in total. There are ten Zilla Parishad Members from BJP and eight from Congress in Zilla Parishad, South Andaman.
11 votes were casted in favour of Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh implying that one Zilla Parishad Member from Congress (INC) also voted in favour of the BJP candidate.
Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh will soon assume the office of the Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman.
