Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, on 06th April 2023, landed at Campbell Bay first time after assuming the charge of Adhyaksh. Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh received a rousing welcome at INS Baaz Gate from the general public of Great Nicobar Island and the local BJP Cadre.
Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh is the Zilla Parishad Member from Campbell Bay/Govind Nagar Constituency. After 27 Years the post of Zilla Parishad Adhyaksh is occupied by a Zilla Parishad Member from Great Nicobar. The very 1st Zilla Parishad Adhyaksha was from Great Nicobar Island, and after that, no other Zilla Parishad Member from Great Nicobar had ever been elected to the post of Adhyaksh.
The local BJP Cadre also organized a rally at Great Nicobar to welcome Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh.
The residents of Great Nicobar have high hopes from the tenure of Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh as Zilla Parishad Adhyaksh.
