SARAS Mela 2025 Shines on Day 3 with Culture, Crafts, and Cuisine

The SARAS Mela 2025 at ITF Ground continued to captivate visitors on its third day, offering a vibrant blend of cultural performances, handicrafts, and culinary delights as footfall surged throughout the day.

The cultural stage came alive with a lively lineup of traditional and contemporary performances. The evening began with an enchanting song and dance presentation by Nancowry, followed by an energetic group act from Prothrapur. Members of the Humfreygunj SHGs delivered a heartfelt performance, accompanied by soulful renditions from Cluster Coordinators Tarak and Paul. The festivities reached new heights as the Royal Musical Group headlined the night, with a special performance by Mr. Anil from the HGC-RD Department adding to the excitement. The Art & Culture Department’s orchestra brought grandeur to the event, setting the stage for a spectacular finale by the Soul Performance Orchestra.

On the commercial front, Day 3 built on the strong momentum from Day 2, which recorded overall sales of approximately Rs. 2.6 lakh. SHG stalls continued to draw large crowds, showcasing diverse artisanal products and innovative offerings. The Food Court remained bustling as visitors indulged in a variety of flavorful dishes from stalls representing different blocks. The Tamil Nadu stall emerged as a top performer, recording sales of nearly Rs. 10,000 and setting a benchmark for the event’s ongoing success.

SARAS Mela 2025 continues to be a celebration of local culture, talent, and entrepreneurship, attracting visitors from across the islands.
