SBI RSETI Concludes 20-Day Training Programme on Papad, Pickle and Masala Powder Making

The State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI), Sri Vijaya Puram, successfully concluded a 20-day training programme on Papad, Pickle and Masala Powder making on January 10, 2026. The programme was conducted from December 22, 2025, with the objective of promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship among women.

A total of 30 women trainees from Self Help Groups (SHGs) participated in the programme and were provided with practical, hands-on training in the preparation of papad, pickles and various masala powders. The training aimed at equipping the participants with skills necessary to start small-scale food processing units and improve their livelihood opportunities.

Ms. Sammeema Begum, Faculty, DBRAIT, and Ms. Meena, NCFT, who acted as resource persons for the programme, appreciated the trainees for their active participation and eagerness to acquire new skills. They encouraged the trainees to work hard, remain committed, and utilize the knowledge gained during the programme to achieve success in their future endeavours.

The valedictory function concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. P. Kaliswaran, Faculty, SBI RSETI, Sri Vijaya Puram.
