Science Centre Announces Chandrayaan-3 Lunar Soft Landing Screening Event for School Students; Calls for School to Register

The Science Centre in Port Blair is all set to captivate the imagination and scientific curiosity of young minds, aiming to inspire their interest in Space Technology. In celebration of India’s recent successful lunar soft landing mission, Chandrayaan-3, which touched down on the Moon’s South Pole on August 23, 2023, the Science Centre will organise a special 15-day event tailored for students in grades VI to VIII.

The event, which is scheduled to commence on September 1, 2023, from 10 am to 12 noon, will extend until September 15, 2023, coinciding with the Birth Anniversary of the illustrious Indian Engineer, Sir Vishweswaraya.

During this unique educational experience, students will have the opportunity to witness the gripping landing sequence of Chandrayaan-3’s historic journey and gain insights into its profound significance in the realm of space exploration.
