The Science Centre at Goodwill Estate, Corbyn’s Cove Road, will organise a series of special evening programmes for general visitors on January 17, offering a blend of education and entertainment for all age groups.

The programmes will include a Sky Show from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm, during which visitors will be provided with a sky map of the night sky over Sri Vijaya Puram to help locate planets and other celestial bodies. Visitors will also get an opportunity to view Saturn, with its prominent rings, and Jupiter along with its satellites through a powerful telescope. The Sky Show, however, will be subject to favourable weather conditions.

A Bubble Show, scheduled at 6.45 pm, promises a fun-filled experience, especially for children. The show will feature a variety of creative bubbles, ranging from tiny and giant bubbles to popular forms such as Doraemon bubbles, cubic bubbles, caterpillar bubbles and even fire bubbles.

The Jurassic Park (Light and Sound) Show, to be held at 6.15 pm, will give visitors an opportunity to witness the evolution of life across different eras of Earth through engaging light and sound effects. The show has a duration of 20 minutes.

In addition, 3D Shows will be conducted at 5.30 pm and 6.45 pm.

The entry fee for the Sky Show and Bubble Show will be ₹10 per head for each programme, while the entry fee for the Jurassic Park (Light and Sound) Show and the 3D Show will be ₹20 per head each.
