Second Andaman Nicobar Book Fair to Be Held from February 14 to 22 at ITF Ground

The Art & Culture Department, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, in association with the National Book Trust (NBT), New Delhi, will organize the nine-day Andaman Nicobar Book Fair (second edition) at the ITF Ground, Sri Vijaya Puram, from February 14 to 22, 2026.

The book fair is being organized with the objective of fostering a reading culture and promoting literary awareness among the people of the Islands, with special focus on youth and students. The event is expected to benefit readers of all age groups while also providing a platform for publishing houses and authors to directly engage with the public.

The fair will feature a wide range of stalls showcasing books from reputed publishers across mainland India, offering a diverse collection spanning various genres and authors. Renowned authors from the mainland are also expected to participate in the event, taking part in book signings, interactive sessions, and reader engagements. Visitors will have the opportunity to browse through an extensive selection of books and purchase them directly from the stalls.

Book fairs play a vital role in encouraging reading habits, expanding access to quality literature, and creating meaningful interaction between authors and readers.
