Secretary, IP&T, Andaman & Nicobar Administration while addressing the media on COVID-19, appealed to the citizens to not overcrowd at markets on Sunday. He informed that heavy rush was noticed in the markets last Sunday.
Secretary IP&T requested the citizens to purchase the essentials from the nearby shops.
He added that this is a pandemic and not a time to move around unnecessarily.
Nicobar Times appeals to the citizens to use the home delivery services instead of visiting the markets physically to purchase essentials. Home Delivery of grocery, medicines, vegetables etc. are easily available in South Andaman District and citizens should use these services instead of flocking to markets.
