Selection for Cycling Training in Khelo India State Centre of Excellence to Be Held on Nov. 30 in Sri Vijaya Puram

The Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, will conduct a selection and talent identification drive for young athletes aged 12 to 17 years on November 30 for admission into the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE), Sri Vijaya Puram, under the discipline of cycling.

The Khelo India State Centre of Excellence is a flagship component of the Khelo India scheme aimed at nurturing sporting talent from grassroots to elite levels. Selected athletes will receive access to sports science support systems, professional coaching, monitoring, and required sports equipment.

The selection process will include a General Physical Test followed by a specific cycling skill test.

Interested athletes must report at the Cycling Velodrome, Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram, at 8 am on November 30, along with the required documents, including birth certificate, Aadhaar card (original and photocopies), and two passport-size photographs.
