A T-20 Cricket Tournament was organised at Shaheed Dweep from 17th of April 2023 to 4th of May 2023. Total 07 teams participated in the tournament. Players from other Islands also participated in the tournament.
The final match was held on 4th of May 2023, between Laxmanpur and Neil Kendra Teams. Neil Kendra Team won the tournament.
Mr. M Vinod, President, AATO was the Chief Guest during the final match. Mr. Ramakrishna, Assistant Director, India Tourism graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
Mr. M Vinod presented the Trophy and Cheque to the winners. Andaman Connections was the title sponsor of the tournament.
Mr. Ajish and Mr. Tarak, locals from Shaheed Dweep coordinated with Mr. Ajit Thankachan of Andaman Connections and successfully conducted the whole tournament.
Mr. Ajit Thankachan has expressed gratitude to all the departments of Shaheed Dweep for the successful conduct of the tournament.
