On 17th April 2023, the E-Ticketing Portal of the Directorate of Shipping Services was launched. Passenger tickets for all sectors were available online except for tickets in Port Blair – Campbell Bay and Chennai – Campbell Bay sectors.
DSS through a press release had informed that due to administrative reasons, passenger tickets for Campbell Bay will only be available through the STARS Ticketing counter.
However, on 24th May 2023, DSS through its official Twitter Handle Informed that the Passenger Tickets for Campbell Bay bound passenger vessels can be availed through STARS E-Ticketing Portal from 25th May 2023, 0900 Hrs.
Allowing Campbell Bay bound passengers to avail ship tickets online through STARS E-Ticketing Portal will ease the lives of the residents of Great Nicobar.
