Shipping Services in Inter-Island, Foreshore, and Harbour Sectors May Face Disruptions Due to Adverse Weather

The Directorate of Shipping Services has issued an important advisory to commuters, the general public, and tourists regarding potential disruptions in the sailing schedule due to adverse weather conditions. In light of passenger safety and vessel security, the announced sailing program may face suspensions or cancellations on short notice, particularly affecting the Inter Island and Foreshore Sector vessels.

Additionally, the operation of Harbour/Vehicle ferry services between Chatham, Bambooflat, Dundas Point, Panighat, Phoenix Bay, and other outstations may also experience disruptions or suspensions depending on the weather.
