Members of Small Traders Association Organised a Tiranga Yatra at Campbell Bay on 12th of August 2022 under the leadership of Mr. K C Murugan, Secretary, Small Traders Association, Campbell Bay.
The Tiranga Yatra was flagged off by Dr. Nitin Shakya, Assistant Commissioner, Campbell Bay at Zero Point.
A large number of Shopkeepers with Tiranga displayed on their bikes drove on roads of Campbell Bay and encouraged the residents to participate in Har Ghar Tiranaga Campaign and celebrate the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav befittingly.
Assistant Commissioner, Campbell Bay also participated in the bike rally along with the shopkeepers.
The shopkeepers were filled with patriotism and chanted slogans along the way. Many residents of Great Nicobar appreciated the Shopkeepers for organising the Tiranga Yatra.
The rally which started at Zero Point culminated at Campbell Bay Bazaar after travelling from all major residential areas of Campbell Bay Headquarter area.
