SIR Underway; Five BLOs in Sri Vijaya Puram Recognised for Completing 100% Enumeration Form Distribution and Collection

The Special Intensive Revision (SIR)–2025 of Electoral Rolls across the Andaman & Nicobar Islands commenced from November 4, 2025, with the aim of ensuring that all eligible citizens are accurately enrolled in the voter list. As part of the exercise, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have been conducting extensive door-to-door visits to distribute and collect enumeration forms.

In Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsil of South Andaman District, five Booth Level Officers—Ms. Kiran (Part No. 133), Mr. Manish Kujur (Part No. 136), Ms. Bina Das Roy (Part No. 137), Mr. Sushanta Seal (Part No. 141), and Mr. Asim Bhattacharjee (Part No. 144)—have successfully achieved 100% distribution and collection of enumeration forms in their respective jurisdictions. Their timely completion and dedication have contributed significantly to the smooth execution of the revision process at the grassroots level.

Recognizing their exemplary service, Mr. Kamaleshwar Rao S, IAS, Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO), Sri Vijaya Puram, awarded Certificates of Appreciation to the officers for their outstanding contribution.

The District Administration has acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of committed field staff whose work strengthens the democratic framework. The AERO office has stated that such dedication will continue to be recognized during the ongoing revision process.
