Sri Vijaya Puram Science Centre is set to host an exciting lineup of events on January 18 and 19, 2025, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore the wonders of astronomy and enjoy fun-filled activities for all ages.
The sky show, scheduled for both days from 5:45 PM to 6:30 PM, will focus on two fascinating planets: Jupiter and Venus. Visitors will receive a detailed sky map of the night sky over Sri Vijaya Puram, guiding them in identifying planets and other celestial bodies.
As part of the program, attendees can observe Venus, Jupiter, and its famous Galilean moons—Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto—using advanced telescopes. This educational yet awe-inspiring experience promises to captivate astronomy enthusiasts and casual stargazers alike.
On January 18 at 6:15 PM, the centre will host a Bubble Show, specially designed for audiences of all age groups. The show will feature an array of bubble tricks, including tiny bubbles, giant bubbles, cubic bubbles, caterpillar bubbles, fire bubbles, and even children’s favourite, the Doraemon bubble. The interactive and entertaining demonstration is sure to bring smiles to everyone in attendance.
On January 19 at 6:15 PM, visitors can step back in time with the Jurassic Park Light and Sound Show. This immersive program will depict the evolution of life on Earth across different eras, brought to life through stunning light and sound effects.
