Pensioners receiving benefits under the Old Age, Destitute, Widow, and Disability pension schemes from the Department of Social Welfare have been urged to submit their Life Certificates by February 15, 2025. Beneficiaries who fail to do so risk having their financial benefits stopped.
The Life Certificate is a mandatory document required to verify the continued eligibility of beneficiaries for the pension schemes. Pensioners can submit their Life Certificates to the concerned Anganwadi Workers or Mukhya Sevika in their respective areas.
The Social Welfare Department has advised all pensioners who have not yet submitted the document to do so at the earliest to avoid any disruption in receiving their benefits.
