In a spirited demonstration of patriotism and unity, the South Andaman Sub-Division Police organized a “Tiranga Bike Rally” on Saturday, aligning with the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. The event was aimed at celebrating and promoting national pride by encouraging citizens to display the National Flag with honour.
The rally commenced at 4:30 PM from Bhatubasti and concluded at the iconic Flag Point. The event saw enthusiastic participation from all three Police Stations within the South Andaman Sub-Division, with a total of 30 bikes riding through key areas of the region. The procession provided the public with a visual celebration of national pride, fostering a sense of unity and encouraging wider participation in the campaign.
In addition to showcasing patriotism, the participants also emphasized the importance of road safety. They adhered to safety protocols by wearing helmets, driving within speed limits, and maintaining proper lanes, thereby conveying a strong message about the importance of following traffic regulations to the general public.
The Tiranga Bike Rally was a notable event that not only honoured the spirit of the nation but also reinforced the values of safety and discipline, making it a significant contribution to the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
