In a significant move aimed at enhancing public convenience, the Office of the Sub-Registrar/Additional District Magistrate, South Andaman, has announced an increase in the number of online registration slots available for all land-related deeds.

The initiative, part of the National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS), raises the daily slot availability from 8 to 12. The enhanced system is set to go live from Dec. 2, 2024, on all working days (Monday to Friday).

This improvement is expected to reduce overcrowding, ease the rush for registrations, and provide citizens with earlier appointment dates. By streamlining the process, the administration aims to ensure faster and more efficient registration services while expediting the processing and disposal of deeds.

Residents of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands can access the updated facility by booking their registration slots through the official NGDRS portal.

The Andaman and Nicobar Administration remains committed to delivering citizen-friendly and efficient services to meet the needs of the public effectively.
