The Department of Sports and Youth Affairs will celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, 2025, at Netaji Stadium Complex, Sri Vijaya Puram, with a series of sports competitions exclusively for women.
The event will feature a range of activities catering to different age groups:
– 18 to 40 years: 5-A-Side Football, Volleyball, Badminton (Doubles), Cycling, Athletics (100m Sprint & 4x100m Relay, Shot Put), Sack Race, and Tug of War.
– 41 to 60 years: Walking Race, Spoon Marble Race, Reverse Walking, and Passing the Ball.
– Open Category (from 8:30 AM onwards): Chess Competition.
