Squally Weather Alert Issued, Fishermen Advised Not to Venture into North Andaman Sea Until 7th June 2024

In response to imminent adverse weather conditions, authorities have issued a cautionary advisory for the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Anticipating strong winds with speeds ranging from 40 to 50 kilometres per hour, residents and fishermen are urged to take precautionary measures.

The inclement weather is expected to impact the coastal regions of Andaman & Nicobar, potentially leading to rough sea conditions. As a safety precaution, fishermen are advised against venturing into the North Andaman Sea until the morning of June 7th 2024.
