A weather advisory has been issued for the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, warning of squally weather conditions along the coast until September 9. The forecast predicts surface wind speeds reaching 35-45 kmph, with gusts up to 55 kmph, making the sea conditions rough to very rough.
Fishermen have been strongly advised not to venture into the sea during this period, as the turbulent weather poses significant risks.
