The State Unit of Bharatiya Janata Party organised a grand programme today at Hotel Sea Shell, Port Blair to mark the end of the celebrations of 8 years of Narendra Modi Govt. The programme saw participation from beneficiaries of Central Govt. Schemes from all walks of life.
Participating beneficiaries were felicitated and honoured with shawls and gifts.
During the programme, the beneficiaries shared their positive experience and thanked the Prime Minister and the Union Govt. for the benefits they received during the last eight years.
Mrs. Kavitha Udhaya Kumar, Chairperson, PBMC was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Mr. Mohan Vinod, State Vice President, BJP; Mr. Mohan Halder, State Secretary, BJP; Dr. R Devdas, State Secretary, BJP; Mr. N K Udhaya Kumar, State President, BJYM; Mr. SNN Gregory, State President, BJ Minority Morcha along with other senior leaders of the party attended the function.
Dr. Poonam Arora the In-Charge of the Seva Susashan and Garib Kalyan Programme was also present on the occasion.
Another programme was held on the same evening at Shaheed Ashim Bhattacharya Park, Junglighat. Tributes were paid to Shaheed Ashim Bhattacharya during the function.
