The Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Administration, Dr. Chandra Bhushan Kumar, IAS, officially inaugurated the State Learning Week (SLW) for the Union Territory on Tuesday. The event, organized in collaboration with Karmayogi Bharat and the Capacity Building Commission, will be held from March 18 to 23, 2025, focusing on enhancing the skills and capabilities of civil servants in the region.
The inaugural session began with a welcome address by Mr. A.S.P.S. Raviprakash, IAS, Secretary (AR & Training/IT), followed by a brief overview of the State Learning Week presented by Mr. V Henry Arokia Raj, Project Manager, Karmayogi Bharat.
Mr. Adil Zainulbhai, Chairman, Capacity Building Commission, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of continuous capacity building for civil servants to improve governance and public service delivery. The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Utpal Sharma, Special Secretary (IT).
To ensure seamless technical assistance throughout the SLW, a dedicated Tech Team of 13 employees from the IT Department has been formed. The team will be available from 9 AM to 5 PM to assist departments and staff.
