In a significant development, a major milestone was achieved on January 27, 2024, the disposal of explosive materials associated with cases handled by the PS CCS was undertaken. The operation, conducted at the Brookshabad dumping area, saw the successful disposal of approximately 3000 electric detonators, 2000 Gelatine sticks, and one bundle of connecting lining wire.
The disposal operation unfolded under the vigilant eye of the Deputy Controller of Explosives, Kolkata, in strict adherence to a disposal order from the Hon’ble Court.
The entire operation, executed with precision, followed established legal procedures to guarantee public safety and compliance with regulatory standards. The meticulous disposal process underscored the commitment to maintaining the highest safety protocols while handling potentially hazardous materials.
