The Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands has declared the schedule for Summer Vacation 2026 for all Government, Private Aided and Unaided Schools under the A&N Administration.
As per the notification, the summer break will be observed from May 2 to June 30, 2026, spanning a total of 60 days. All schools across the Islands will reopen on July 1, 2026.
The Administration has also directed that the results of the home examinations for the academic session 2025–26 be declared positively by March 31, 2026 by all schools. The new academic session for 2026–27 will commence from April 1, 2026.
The announcement provides clarity to students, parents and educational institutions regarding the academic calendar for the upcoming session.
